How to take Cipro.

Generic Cipro is usually available in film-coated tablet form, with dosage strengths of 250 mg, 500 mg, and 750 mg. Intake of the medication should be done as prescribed by a physician, or as directed on the label instructions. Intake can be made with a tall glass of water if needed; the body should also be constantly hydrated during treatment, so a few extra glasses of fluids every day are recommended. Side Effects.

Discontinue use and get immediate medical help in the presence of an allergic reaction, as well as chest pain, rapid heartbeat, frequent urination, watery and/or bloody diarrhea, jaundice, joint pain and swollenness, and episodes of convulsion and black-outs. Missed Dose.

Take a missed dose of Generic Cipro as soon as necessary; the succeeding intake doses should then be ingested upon following the adjusted schedule with respect to the missed dose. Intake of a missed dose should be made under the condition that the next dose is not near enough as to lead to a double dose.

Otherwise, the regular intake schedule should be followed, and the missed dose skipped altogether.

Overdose.

Indications of an overdose of Cipro can include, but are not limited to pale skin with a blue tinge on the lips, problems in urinating, weakness, and seizures. In the presence of such symptoms, immediately seek for medical help.

Storage.

Store Generic Cipro within normal room temperatures, away from direct heat and light. Make sure that the drug is within the potency period. Expired medications may not provide the benefits normally obtained from them.
